Matt Wood has worked in the fire-safety industry whilst volunteering in the charity sector for over 30 years. In March 2024, Millwood became the first Fire Safety firm to gain B Corp certified status. In 2018, Matt was awarded the prestigious lifetime achievement award (The Companion Award) from the Institution of Fire Engineers for his dedication and volunteering in the IFE. In 2020, he received the Freedom of the City of London and, in 2021 Matt received his third accolade when he was invited to join the Missing People Enterprise Board.
