What is The Watercooler?

Taking place in 2023, in the heart of London, The Watercooler will play host to the leading minds in mental health, physical health, social wellbeing, financial wellbeing, and environmental wellbeing, alongside thousands of employers and employees from FTSE 100’s through to SMEs and start-ups.

What is your admissions policy?

The Watercooler is only open to adults (16+) who have pre-registered and hold a valid entry badge or those who register onsite. This includes visitors, speakers, exhibitors, VIPs, and press. Admission is open to professionals who are involved in, or have a direct connection or interest in, the event or associated industries or organisations. All visitors must be 16 or over (unless prior written consent from the organisers).

Safety and Security at The Watercooler

We are working closely with ExCel to keep everyone safe at our event.

All visitors should be aware that the following are in place:

  • Official event security staff may approach you to assist you outside, at entry or inside the event
  • Staff and attendees must wear ID badges provided
  • Bag checks maybe in operation at the venue
  • Keep personal property with you at all times and do not leave any items unattended
  • Report anything that looks unusual or suspicious to a member of event staff
  • Please note CCTV in operation at ExCel is monitored and recorded

What happens to my data/image?


By allowing your badge to be scanned during the event, attendees will be allowing the organisers to provide their name and contact details to the specific partner, exhibitor or sponsor who may contact them about their products/services.

By choosing to attend any session in our seminar theatres or workshops, visitors will have their badge scanned at entry and their name and contact details will be shared by the Organisers with the seminar host/exhibitor, sponsor and/or speaker, who may contact them about their products or services.

Photography and Video Recording

Official photographers and videographers will be taking photographs and recording and/or streaming videos at the event. By registering and attending the event, each attendee authorises such photography and recording and permits the Organisers to use the attendee’s image, likeness and voice for archival and promotional purposes in any and all media, without liability, compensation or credit to the attendee.

No visitor to the event may take photographs or make any form of recording (including audio or video) on any media at the event under any circumstances without the prior written permission of the Organisers.

Can I register for a Press Pass?

Members of the press are invited to register via our agency Notion ahead of the event.

The dedicated Press area is within the 'VIP Press and Speaker Lounge' and will be open throughout the show.

Tell Me About the On-site Facilities

Car Park
There is limited parking spaces onsite so we advise you book parking well in advance. Alternatively, we recommend you consider using public transport to reach the venue.
Onsite carparking is available in the Motorail car park, a flat-surface car park with a height restriction of 4 meters. It is open from 0700hrs until one hour after the building closes (or one hour after the event closes on open days) and all parking is chargeable. Advance booking is strongly recommended, as spaces cannot be guaranteed otherwise.

Restaurant and catering facilities are located around the exhibition hall.  There are also lots of local eateries around the area.

First Aid
Qualified first aid staff are available at all events.

Information Desk
Olympia office operating hours are 09.00-17.30 Monday – Friday but the organisers office should be able to help you with all your queries. This is located in the National Hall Foyer.

I am disabled/have a disability - Is the venue disability friendly?

Visitors with additional needs or disabilities are encouraged to download the Welcome app before the event. Once you have the app on your phone you can create a simple profile enabling you to personalise your access needs, including your key requirements and information about what support you require. Please ensure that you select The Watercooler in the app at least two days before the event. This will ensure that The Watercooler customer service team will receive a reminder of your visit - helping them to prepare to address your specific needs on your arrival.

The event will take place at ExCel London. The venue website has a range of services to support disabled visitors.

Are you allowed to bring dogs into the exhibition area?

Guide dogs are welcome in the venue however other pets will not be allowed access.

Yes there is Free Visitor WiFi onsite.
