A few years later after starting his first job he was sectioned and admitted to hospital with stress and depression. Luckily, Jon was able to get the right help in the end and returned to work a year later. Matt Wood started his fire safety career in the Royal Navy (RN) in the early nineties and in doing so found a passion for helping others at the same time. Matt Wood has worked in the fire-safety industry whilst volunteering in the charity sector for over 30 years. In March 2024, Millwood became the first Fire Safety firm to gain B Corp certified status.
